Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dima Hasao ,Under Keshav Smarak Nyas, Haflong, organized JaL Shakti Abhiyan programme at Skill Development Centre, (Near Govt. Boys H. S. School) Haflong on Tuesday.

The daylong programe was attended by MLA B B Hagjer, Assistant Executive Engneer, PHE Pradip Dey, Agriculture Development Officer Nripen Chandra Das, PHE official Pratibhat Mohon Bora, Chief Trustee, Soumendra Longmailai, Member, Keshav Smarak Nyas, Secretary, Keshav Smarak Nyas Nidhuban Paul along with farmers from 15 villages of Dima Hasao.

B B Hagjer attending the programme as the chief guest explained the present situation of water in the district while expressing concern over the present water scarcity. Hagjer appealed to all to conserve water and also protect and preserve the existing sources of water as it is the responsibility of all us.

All the speakers highlighted the judicious use of water, conservation and appealed not to waste water and to be part of this noble Jal Shakti Abhiyan.
