Skill Development Programme organized by NULM & ASDM in collaboration with FISS
A Skill development program was organized at Keshav Smarak Nyas, Haflong in Assam by National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) and Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) in collaboration with FISS (Foundation for Integrated Support and Solution). The event was innugrated by Debolal Gorlosa who is the Chief Executive Member of N C Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC). The glimpse of the event was shared on the social media platform. ASDM has trained at least 1, 18, 585 candidates. Krishi Vikash Kendra (KVK) Dima Hasao organized an ‘Input distribution programme (Animal Science) under Front Line Demonstration’ at Dima Hasao on Thursday. The main objective of the programme was to introduce and popularize Rainbow Rooster (dual purpose-meat and egg)- a newly-introduced poultry variety which is suitable for rural-backyard poultry farming for doubling income and nutritional security in tribal hill region of Dima Hasao . Organizations Laid Stress On Water Conservation In Haflong
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dima Hasao under Keshav Smarak Nyas, Haflong, organized Jal Shakti Abhiyan programme at the Skill Development Centre in Haflong on Tuesday. The day-long programe was attended by MLA BB Hagjer, Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE, Pradip Dey, other dignitaries and farmers from 15 villages of Dima Hasao. BB Hagjer explained the present situation of water in the district while expressing concern over water scarcity.
